Making Pasta – Behind the scenes!

For those of you who weren’t aware, we got our own pasta machine a few months back.  And guess what? The pasta tastes SO GOOD! Making your own pasta is such a huge difference in the quality of the dishes and we love to give our guests that added specialty.

When you walk into La Scala you can expect to receive only the finest, freshest and HOMEMADE food. 


To share with our fans, we wanted to go “behind the scenes” into our kitchen and document how its done.

Once the pasta ingredients are put together, the pasta is made, cut and portioned and all that is left to do is boil it for a very short time.

Our most popular pasta would probably be the Penne. We serve it with marinara for every “non pasta” entree as a side dish, so everyone gets a little taste of homemade! Other pasta served quite frequently is our fettuccine and angel hair.


This dish is our famous Penne alla Vodka – and it is to die for. Definitely a must try!
